Join us for a 6 day, 5 night, all-inclusive adventure across the deserts and hidden splendors of Nevada. We did this trip with a group last August and had a wonderful time. We will show you our favorite spots, not just mines and towns, but some incredible natural features and areas so far off the beaten path, that few have ever experienced. Incredibly, there are some very high elevation mining areas so the trip won’t be as hot as places like Death Valley. This trip is designed for stock, high clearance 4x4s (Broncos, Raptors) but not lower clearance (Bronco Sports) on this trip.
This is also a Faux-verlanding trip (pronounced foe-verlanding), meaning we are still traveling overland off-road but instead of setting up tent camp each night, we’ll arrive at small towns and stay in amazing, historic, even haunted hotels like the historic Mizpah. You’ll have the adventure of overlanding but the added comfort of soft beds, hot showers, air conditioning, and amazing prepared meals that will have you fueled and rested for the following day.
We don’t want to give too many of our surprises away but we will be meeting in Baker, California and travel into Nevada from there. If you haven’t been to Baker, it’s about 90 minutes from Las Vegas. When we finish, we’ll only be about 3 hours away from Vegas, making it a great base for pre and post trip. We’re happy to help recommend places to stay or you can fly in and rent a Bronco, we have rentals available for an additional cost.
